Cat from Cut Out + Keep asked if I would do a little interview and pattern for the holiday mini version of their online magazine, Snippets, so I said sure!! This is the first pattern I’ve ever posted anywhere, and it’s FREE!! I tried to keep it simple and sweet for the holidays. I hope it’s easy to understand!
I haven’t really had a chance to check out Cut Out + Keep yet, but there are like 30,000 members, and I just got an account. I know you might be thinking, “Oh no, not another online community!” But I think they did such a great job with my Snippets stuff, that I’m curious to find out more about the rest of the site!

How cool, congrats! Great pics of you too!
thanks so much!
so cool!
thank you!
It’s not just “another online community” it’s a cool website where you can make and share craft tutorials and find endless inspiration for DIY projects!
I get a lot of invites to things that I never log onto. There’s stuff like Ravelry, punkrockdomestics, Craftster….DiYscene. There’s just a lot! I didn’t mean to sound negative about it or anything. SOrry if I did!
Have you checked out ThreadBanger? They’re pretty popular, and I’d be surprised it you hadn’t!
Hehe, you did not seem negative. I just wanted to speak up as a proud member of the website, since many people will be interviewed for Snippets and not even know about Cut Out & Keep! I just wanted to add my two cents to whoever reads this article…sorry for the communication breakdown!
Hey! Your work looks great! Thanks so much for the zazzle code!!! I used it to make my BF a super awesome shirt for his xmas stocking!!!
Thanks again!
O p.s-when is your pattern book going to be coming out? I can’t wait!
I just read your I Eat Yucky Stuff blog for the first time – you are hilarious! Loved the quail eggs video with Under the Sea playing in the background. Very cute.
Oops, I meant the Oyster Stew video >o<
I saw your interview on Snippets and I was so surprised! I see you on ShanaLogic all the time and got so excited that you crochet and have a blog I can follow! Congrats on the interview! I’m now a major fan of your work! ^_^
Hi! Thanks so much!!! I actually sell my work on ShanaLogic, too
. It just always sells out !
lol, guess I never read too much into it! Selling out of your items is better than selling none! =] How long do you usually spend on making a scarf?
Just wanted you to know that I linked your tutorial on my blog! ^_^
Loved reading the interview, and excited to try the cute brooch! Can’t wait to buy your book when it comes out, too! :-}
